THAYER, James Retired York Regional Police Officer Passed away peacefully at his home in Barrie on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Jim Thayer at the age of 58, loving husband (23) of Suzana. Proud father of Angela (Joe), Pam (Shawn) and James. Father-in-law of Nicole and adored grandfather of Alyson, Mac, Dom, Chantal and Randy. Jim was looking forward to the arrival of his new grandchild Logan. He will be missed and will always send 'Daddy magic'. No public service will be held.
