Pearl was a wonderful person and I'm blessed to have her as my Nana. She was a kind and caring woman who loved her family unconditionally. I have many fond memories of her and she has been an important person in my life. She taught me many things from sewing to baking. She supported and encouraged my dreams and with her guidance it helped to form me into the person I am today. When becoming a nurse was a dram in high school she used to call me her little nurse and helped me learn to take her blood sugars. When I was in college she used to call me everyday and we would talk about our day. I always looked forward to time visiting her and we would bake bread and drink tea. Nana loved her cups of tea and despite the miles apart I always found comfort in drinking tea as it reminds me of her.
