Alma Gertrude DiMARTILE

DiMARTILE, Alma Gertrude (n? Smith) formerly of Welland At Northland Pointe, Port Colborne on April 16, 2018, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Abe DiMartile (2002), she is survived by her sons Brian (Betty Ann) and Craig, sisters-in-law Violet DiMartile, Lorraine Lucianni and many nieces and nephews. Alma was a resident of Welland and Pelham all of her long and joyous life. She was an active member and former President of the Ladies Division of the Welland Curling Club. Alma was predeceased by her parents; brothers Alvin, Harmon, Jim, John Smith, and her loving sister Lulu Tufts. She worked side by side with Abe developing and operating the landscaping, top soil and Christmas tree business. She operated one of the first garden centres in the Niagara Region- Abe's Garden Centre. The family wishes to express its great appreciation to the staff of Northland Pointe for its excellent care of their mother throughout her nine years as a resident.
