Hendrik MAKKREEL Obituary

MAKKREEL, Hendrik (Hank) I would like to announce the passing of my husband Hendrik (Hank) Makkreel on April 7, 2018 at his home in Fenwick, Ontario. Born in the Netherlands on November 29, 1929, Hank came to Canada in 1953 and started his business as the ""The Piano Doctor"". Hank would like his friends and customers to know he has left his business in the capable hands of his son Michael in Ridgeville, Ontario. Hank is survived by his ""Beautiful Wife Marie"" of 63 years, and his three children Terri Bessey Coady, Mary Ellen Anastacio, and Michael Hendrik Makkreel. Also, we would like to thank the staff at the St. Catharines and Welland Hospitals and the PD and Hemo-Dialysis Unit for their wonderful caring and concern! Hank had stated fondly to his friends and family, that he had come ""TO THE END OF HIS 88 KEYS"". In keeping with Hank's wishes, cremation has taken place.
