Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Rose Guarasci of Thorold in her 93rd year. Wife of the late Domenic Guarasci. Dear mother of Raphalena (John Marr), Sam Guarasci and Sandy Guarasci (Maria). Loving nonna to Bianca (Allan), Michael, Sandro, Leah and bisnonna to Zen Guarasci. Sister of Ralph Guarasci (Vanda), Tony Guarasci (Lena), Lena (the late Vasco Andreola), Dominic Parrotta (Lily) and the late Cosmo and Maria Guarasci. Sister-in-law to Anna (the late Enzo Guarasci) and Elena (the late Leo Guarasci). Zia Rose will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Cathy Bergman, who was like a second daughter to Rose, for all her care, compassion, love and support. Following all COVID protocols, including the use of face masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing, friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Please call 905-227-0161 to make a reservation.
