Carol HANNA Obituary
CAROL HANNA January 5, 1928 - August 16, 2022 Carolyn Elizabeth Hanna was born on January 5, 1928 to Gertrude May (Browning) and Francis Bailey King in London, Ontario. She lived near Brantford before the family moved to Dundas in 1942 where she met Robert Hanna. They married in 1950 and lived in the towns of Dixie, Cooksville and Mississauga, where daughters Martha and Sarah were born. Throughout her life Carol skillfully practiced a range of handcrafts, sewing and rug hooking in particular. She participated in Bob's motor racing career, travelling international. Since 2000 they have commuted seasonally between Florida and Ontario. In 2007, Carol was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She continued to be involved in daily pursuits and travels while cared for by her family. Carol quietly passed away at home in Lansdowne at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine Wilson and Marion and Jack McIsaac; and sister-in-law, Nancy and Wally Slatter. She leaves behind brother-in-law, Jim and Joanne Hanna; and brother-in-law, Ray Wilson and Anneli. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 72 years; and loving daughters, Martha and Sarah.
