Carole ELSDON Obituary

CAROLE LOUISE ELSDON (nee Ness) Born 1943 and raised in Toronto with brothers, Ken and Gord; and sister, Peggy, to whom she was very close. Date of passing was April 22, 2023. She married Stan in 1964 and after a brief stay in Calgary, they settled in Etobicoke, where they built a wonderful home filled with love and laughter for their family. Together they had two children, Steven (Elizabeth, Chicago) and Karen (Nick Moncaster, London UK); and were blessed with six grandchildren, Victoria and Katie Elsdon, Charlotte, Georgia, Luca and Valentina Moncaster. Later in life, Carole took up golf and enjoyed playing weekly with her ladies group. She also loved to travel and visited numerous exotic locations around the world. Despite her failing health, Carole held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, and would eagerly await picture updates of their activities, sports, art projects, and dance performances. Carole will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Albeit almost a year late, I´d like to offer my sincere condolences to the Elsdon family on the passing of Carole.

As odd as this may sound, while walking my dog earlier today my mind wandered, and both Stan and Carole came into focus. Maybe it was the Ford Mustang that drove by me that caused to me to reminisce.

Mr. Google delivered the sad news.

For a short time, I was a next-door neighbour to both Stan and Carole. The best part of my summer was to get an invite to sit on the Elsdon's back deck, enjoying a cold beer, chatting about golf, business, cooking, and life.

Mrs. Elsdon was a first-class Lady and always brightened my day with an "Hello" how's John.
