My sympathy to the family. Played tennis at North York Tennis Club for years
with David, lunches at Olde Yorke Fish and Chips, and a pint. Never had a bad
day with David. I'd say to him, "when I go out with you, It's like stepping up a
couple of levels in society. A great guy to be around.

We were sorry to hear of David’s passing. I met Dave when he played golf with our group at Spring Lakes Golf Club many years ago. Playing golf was something he and I both enjoyed. I always enjoyed hearing his stories of flying. Sending you our sincere condolences.

To the entire Oliver family...I am so sorry for your loss.
Captain Oliver was my simulator and flight instructor when I was on my L-1011 First Officer course. A man of dignity and class...with a tremendous dry sense of humour. He was a good instructor...and good pilot...and a great man!

Sincere condolences to Kathleen and family. Long time golf and lunch pal. In recent years when I phoned him I would introduce myself as "the Mayor of Pelly" which would always garner a huge laugh. Our last lunch was not too long before his passing. Rest in peace old friend.
