I am so very sorry to learn of your sudden loss last fall. My son, Dara, worked for Mr. Burwash in his beautiful garden on Lawrence Avenue every summer throughout high school and university including last year. Mr. Burwash always showed interest in Dara's endeavours and studies and offered him advice, encouragement, and wonderful meals along the way. He was so kind to Dara and an important mentor. Our deepest condolences to your family.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear this news. Sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family and other friends. Don was a great friend to my father. They met as students at university, worked as CPR porters and traveled to Europe together. He was over for lunch on Nov. 4. I'm so glad we had a wonderful visit that day. I never expected it to be our last.
