Fred AUGER Obituary



AUGER, Fred
Born June 7, 1907, in Okotoks, AB. Died August 11, 2000 in Vancouver. Fred was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Dorothy (Hill) and is survived by his two sons Barry, of Vancouver and Tim (Sherry) of Canmore, AB, and two grandchildren Corey (Calgary) and Kelley (Santa Barbara, Calif.) Fred was the publisher of the Winnipeg Tribune from 1951 to 1959 and the Vancouver Province from 1959 to 1972 when he retired. He was also a past president of Ducks Unlimited and a long standing member of Shaughnessy Golf Club. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to The Alzheimer Society of Louis Brier H&H.
