LOTHIAN, George Bayliss 1909-2000
passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC February 13, 2000. Predeceased by his wife Rose (nee Crispin) and daughter Marilyn (Pixie). He will be deeply missed by his son Bruce and wife Christine, Robin and Gregory, daughter Heather (Chetwyn), Kimberly and Peter. To paraphrase as stated his induction to the Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame 'His inspired leadership in ocean flying despite adversity, the sharing of his exceptional aviation skills with others willing to learn, his unswerving demand for perfection in all who served under his command, bred a most superior grade of airman'. Service of Remembrance Thursday, February 17, 2000 at 10 am in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 14615 16 Avenue, White Rock. Cremation. Chapel Hill 604-531-4222.
