I was a newly graduated RN working on the 2nd floor TGH Bell Wing, all of 22 yrs old and knowing nothing about radical prostatectomies. There was Dr Farrow, wearing a long white lab coat coming down the long hallway, perfectly combed hair and a giant simile ready to do rounds and teach many of us nurses all we needed to know. Thank you for all your wisdom.

I knew Grant (and the Farrow family) at Oakville Trafalgar High School 1948-52. Grant & Geprge were my friends, we were the forward line on the OTHS basketball team for two years. I lost touch with them after high school. Very sorry indeed to hear that Grant has left us. Very pleased and impressed at his many contributions during his life. I also of course knew his first wife Jill.

We were very sorry not to have been able to attend Grant's funeral. Our deepest condolences go to Ruth and the family. We have many fond memories of lovely dinners out on the island, with wonderful conversation and much laughter over an endless flow of fine wine and good scotch!

I was fortunate to have met Dr. Grant at our home church, St.Andrews. He had a smile and personality that would fade sadness away. I will be attending his funeral on Friday.

I first met Dr. Farrow in 1969 when he became my doctor at TGH and removed kidney stones from me twice in the same month. He was young, always smiling with a good sense of humour and, of course, a great doctor. I hooe there is a place up there for good people like him.

Dear Ruth, Sue, Trevor and Family,
I will forever, feel SO fortunate, to have known your wonderful husband/your dad. His kind and gentle spirit, and his wisdom, gave strength to everyone he came in contact with. He was graciousness personified - in everything he did. In conversation, he looked right at you; listening intently, with great respect. And here he was, with the most incredible pedigree - but he made you feel you mattered. His humility and generosity in action, all the time. He was a man of truly sterling character.
And how deeply loved you and how proud he was of all of you - and of Jill.
My heart is heavy. Again, I am so lucky I knew Dr. Farrow; your husband, your dad.
Love to you and my deepest condolences.
