JANE MARKOWITZ It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of Jane Catherine Markowitz. On April 28, 2021, Jane passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long struggle with cancer. Daughter of Jacob Markowitz and Ruth McCullough, and wife of Jerry Apfelbaum. Jane is survived by brother Thomas Markowitz and son Jordan Sokoloff. Jane was a dedicated mother and educator. Beloved by her family and students, she touched thousands of lives and left each one better for it. She will be greatly missed.
