Peacefully, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario, on Saturday, December 19, 1998, Jean (nee Duff) Melville, of Burlington, age 65 years. Beloved wife of Dr. J. Malcolm Melville. Loving mother of Dianne and her husband Dallas Putzig of Burlington, John Melville and his wife Sylvia of Mississauga, and Alistair Melville of Burlington. Devoted Grandma of Liam, Callum, Katherine and Colleen. Dear sister of William "Billy" Duff and his wife May of Bristol, England, and Eoin Duff and his wife Barri of Drumnadrochit, Scotland. Jean will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Linda, Eileen, Heather, Gordon, David, Colin, Andrew and Ross. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 1998 at 1 p.m. Cremation.
