JOHN ALEXANDER INCH Passed away peacefully May 24, 2011 after a one-year battle with lung cancer. Born June 21, 1933 to William and Aileen, brother to the late William Inch of Sudbury and survived by his brother Arthur Inch of St. Andrew's, Nova Scotia. John grew up in Haileybury, Ontario and attended Ridley College. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and later graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1962. He served as Crown Attorney in North Bay, Ontario before entering private practice. Always community-minded, he served several terms as a School Board Trustee, a Deputy Judge for Small Claims Court, and on the Review Board for Ontario Disability Appeals. John married Bonnie Minchin in 1964, and is survived by his children John, Cameron, Thomas and Sara; his grandchildren Oscar and Carson; his nephews Jim, Sam, Andy, David, and Alex; and his nieces Carolyn, Cathy, and Tracy. Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home, 464 Wyld St. North Bay, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #23, 150 First Avenue, North Bay on Saturday May 28 at 11 am.
