Phyllis Mary LEWIS

PHYLLIS MARY LEWIS Born in Toronto, Ontario, on June 23, 1934 (née Dunbar). Passed away on April 11, 2022 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Educated at Riverdale Collegiate Institute, where she met her future husband. Phyllis married Edward Dale Lewis on June 30, 1955. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Rosemary; children, Karen, Beth and Dan (Bonny); granddaughter, Sara; grandson, Brydan (Christine); and new great-grandbaby, David. Predeceased by Ted in 2004; and son, Peter. Phyllis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education at the University of Toronto in 1992. Phyllis and Ted lived in the Beaches (Toronto), Schomberg, and then retired to Kelowna after long careers in education. Mom was a talented potter, and lifelong painter and sketcher. She delighted in pleasures such as conversation and food. She lit up when she heard live jazz, and loved dancing! Thanks to Beth and Dan for helping Mom in times of need.
