Grandchildren Danielle, Stephanie and Alec announce the passing of their Papa in Collingwood, Ontario on August 18, 2008, in his 76th year. Ron' wife Jill and their three sons Glenn, Peter and Paul were by his side as he bravely finished his last chapter. Now free, he has gone on to live in the loving memories of those he touched. With his generosity, intellect and big heart, Ron's commitment to making the world a better place will live on through the generations. Ron is survived by daughters-in-law, Toni, Chris and Anne, brother Gary, sister- in-law Fern and his niece and nephews Valerie, Ted, Craig and John. Ron is now continuing his passionate political discussions solving the worlds problems and re- uniting with family and close friends, There will be a celebration of his life on November 15, 2-5 pm. at the Craigleith Ski Club 'North Lodge', 164 Craigleith Road, Collingwood, Ontario. Donations made in his memory to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, 459 Hume Street Collingwood, Ontario L9Y 1W9 would be appreciated by the family.
