RHIND, Valerie Dorothy Knowles Bracewell

Passed away on September 29th at the Guelph General Hospital surrounded by her children. Val was born and raised in Watrous, Saskatchewan. Val graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1954 and retired from Montreal Trust Mortgage Services, Toronto in 1996. Val is predeceased by her parents, Norman and Constance, her brother John and her son Robert. Val is survived by her loving children John (Gail), Cathy (Ann) and Elizabeth (Allan); her grandchildren Alex, Caileigh, Andrew and Cameron. Val will be remembered for her great sense of humour and booming laugh not to mention her love of playing cards. Val has lived at the Royal on Gordon in Guelph, Ontario for the last three years where she made many dear friends. As per Val's wishes, she will be cremated followed by a small private family service in Erin, Ontario. She will be buried alongside her son Robert in the Bracewell Family Plot in Watrous, Saskatchewan at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in her name. Arrangements entrusted to Butcher Family Funeral Home, Erin 519-833-2231.
