William MONK Obituary
DR. WILLIAM S. MONK MD, FRCSC Died on August 12, 2021 at home in Bracebridge, Ontario in his 94th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (nee Wishart) and his son David. At Dr. Monk's request cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be arranged. The family expresses its great thanks to Dr. Kotchetkov, Dr. Dechert and Dr. Kappos; to our incredible palliative care nurse, Tracy Morris; and to retired OR nurse, Fraser Lockhart, who kindly spelled the family for a night of respite. In lieu of flowers, Dr. Monk requested that, with thanks, donations can be made to the Cellar Singers (the choir he established over 50 years ago), Bracebridge Interval House (via Muskoka Women's Advocacy Group), and the Manna Food Bank in Bracebridge.
