Patricia Ann SCHIARIZZA

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Friday, December 30, 2022. Pat Schiarizza of Lakefield in her 96th year. Pat will be remembered by many former students and faculty at the many schools she taught at over her long career. She was a faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Lakefield and a dedicated member of the Catholic Women's League. Loving wife of the late Tony Schiarizza (d. 2002). Lovingly remembered by her children Paul (Lori Kennedy) of Victoria B.C., and Beth Cockburn (Bill) of Downeyville. Dear grandma of Megan (Dean), Alison (Luke), Kelly, Darrell (April), Jen (Todd), Matt and great-grandma of Brayden, Nixon, Blake, Booker, Talon, Jayda, Nahla, Aiden and Ella. Pat was also a special "nanny" to many. Predeceased by her son Doug (1979) and brother Bill (Ann). Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall of the church.
