Anita VANDENBERG Obituary
Relatives and friends will be received at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation are asked to RSVP through the funeral home www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. Funeral Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery.
In memory of Anita, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.

To the family of Anita,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to read about Anita in the Record. We worked together at Burger King in Waterloo many years ago. We always had so much fun - late night shifts with Anita were always the best! We used to create "interesting" meals such as French fries with mayo, vanilla shake with the contents of the blueberry pie dumped in, and yummy breakfast omelets! Every time the song, "I Had the Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing came on the speakers, regardless if we were in the middle of a rush or not, Anita and I would find each other and dance together! Although we did not remain in contact once Anita left Burger King, she was always someone who I have thought of over the years. As a matter of fact, it was less than a week ago when she popped into my mind.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.
