Fergus James Feeney

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of Marion (Roach) for 67 years. Caring father of Don (Nancy), Bob (Marilynne), Ken (Dianne), Steve (Marg), Sharon Kelly, Diane Fehrenbach (Rick) and Ron. Dear grandfather of 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Malachi and Margaret Feeney from Dublin, ON, brothers Mike, Gerald (Lori), and sisters Agnes Hickman (Raymond), Loretta Henderson (Bev). He will be remembered fondly by many family and friends. Fergus was a proud worker of Kaufman Footwear for 39 years until his retirement and a faithful member of St Louis RC Church. His greatest joy was spending time with mom attending his grandchildren's activities as well as cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. His step-dancing talent was a highlight for our family on many occasions. Special thanks to the PSWs, physiotherapists and all medical staff who assisted our family with his care. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo on Thursday, September 1 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
