Dennis Eric LANGFORD

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Langford at home on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Judith (nee MacIver) for 56 years. Loving father of Christopher (Jillian) and Curtis (Rhonda). Cherished Poppa of Tabitha, Ayla, Carter, Tristan and Owen. Dear brother of Bob (Shirley) Langford, the late Keith Langford and younger brother Paul (Donna) Langford, and brother-in-law of Don (Kathy) MacIver. Born and raised in Burlington, Dennis had fond memories of growing up on the beach strip with his brothers enjoying summer and winter sports on the lake. He married his sweetheart Judie in 1966 where they made a home in what was the outskirts of town. A 44 year employee and retiree of Dofasco, Dennis enjoyed watching his sons playing hockey, later his grandchildren on the rinks, soccer pitches and ball diamonds of Hamilton and Kelowna BC. Special memories were created at the family cottage in Novar, Ontario. A lifelong trusted friend, a man of simple pleasures and a loyal canine companion to Bo, Copper and Jeep. His compassion, big heart and special humor will be missed. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at WEST PLAINS UNITED CHURCH, 549 Plains Rd W., Burlington, on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Private family ennichement at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to your local SPCA or Humane Society in memory of Dennis would be appreciated by the family.
