Eva WELKE Obituary
April 11, 1935 - November 3, 2022
Eva Welke went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in her 87th year. She passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital. Loving wife of Edwin Welke (predeceased 2010). Eva was the dear mother of Esther (Gary) Kohler, Daniel (Linda), Rebecca (Michael) O'Hara, stepmother of Cornelia (Dennis) Hook and David. Cherished Grandmother of Abigail (Alex) Chmura, Rachel (Byron) Horinga, Sean, Maeghan, and Clover O'Hara. Beloved Great Grandmother of Isabella Grace Chmura. Eva made the most of life and aimed to live every day to its fullest for Jesus. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will greatly be missed by all who loved her. Visitation will be held at Smiths Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 12-1 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Burial will take place immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery in Burlington.
