John Frederick Turnbull

It is with hearts full of love that the family of John Frederick Turnbull announces his passing at the age of 83 on Thursday March 30, 2023 at Queen's Garden Long Term Care in Hamilton, Ontario. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy (nee. McAloney). Loving father of the late Joseph John Turnbull, Cindy (John) Carnegie, Debbie (Fred) Reu and Ken Turnbull. Cherished grandfather to Justin, Ashley, Tasha, Aaron, Jolisa, Shanel and Amber. Doting great grandfather of six. John will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Helen Palma of Hamilton and many nieces & nephews. John is predeceased by his parents John and Mary (nee. Fell) Turnbull, brother Peter Turnbull and many other siblings-in-law. A special thank you to the staff at Queen's Garden for the care and compassion that John received during his time there, we truly appreciate everything you have done.
In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street, Javis, Ontario. In memory of John, donations to the Atwell Centre in Hamilton wound be greatly appreciated by the family.
