Norma Thompson Obituary
On May 8th, 2023, Norma Lynn Thompson passed away from her tough battle with cancer at the early age of 66 years. Born May 12th, 1956, she is survived by her son Jimi, and her life long partner Cecil McAvinn. She was a dedicated mother, and an advocate for her late daughter Amy. She was a wonderful sister to Lori, Brenda, Rick, and Rob, a grandmother to Jimi Jr. And Coden, a loving auntie to Sara, Caitlyn, Jason, Sherry, Stephanie, Rachel, and Justin. She was a strong, vibrant woman that always looked at the positive in life, shared her happiness with everyone that came across her path, she always stuck up for the underdog, and would be there for anyone who needed her. She dedicated her life to taking care of her late disabled daughter Amy whom she adored, and took exceptional care of for 41 years. Norma will be deeply missed by all those that were fortunate to have her in their lives, and will be forever loved in all our hearts.
