Ronald McCHESNEY Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce that our devoted husband and father passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in his 89th year. Ron was born and raised in Hamilton and died just shy of his 89th birthday. Beloved husband of Diane for 65 years. Survived by his children Kelly McDonnell (Steve), Michael McChesney (Jackie) and Kevin McChesney (Tere) and grandchildren Kyle, Katie, Shelby, Millie, and Mark. Predeceased by his son Mark and siblings MaryLou (late Herb), Robert McChesney (Bea) and Earl McChesney (Betty). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Ron was a lifelong educator with the former Lincoln County Board of Education who enjoyed retirement life with Diane, travelling the world for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to GBF Community Services in Grimsby or the Salvation Army would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
