SOLOMON, DESMOND "DES" ANTHONY 1939-2022 Passed away peacefully, at Joseph Brant Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the age of 82. Born in Guyana to his admiring parents, Walter and Cordelia 'Phil' Solomon. Loving father to Dianna Taylor of Hamilton and Deidre (Slavko) Buntic of Mississauga. The proud grandfather of Jake, Riley and Nicolas. Des will be remembered by his many family and friends. Desmond may be gone from this world, but he lives on in the stories and memories of all those he touched during his lifetime. As per Desmond's wishes, and that of his family, a private cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 2265 Headon Rd, Burlington, on Thursday, August 11, at 1 p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
