Donald MacLEAN Obituary
MacLEAN, Donald Walter "Don" - The family of Don MacLean feels great sadness at his passing on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. He died in his home in Toronto in his 88th year. Predeceased by his brother Jim MacLean (Joan). Loving uncle of Heather Cordukes (John) and Rob MacLean (Catherine). Beloved great-uncle of Colleen (Omar), Erin, Allan and Sandy. Don will also be missed by his dear friend Ian Paul (Jodi). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 12 noon at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg. In memory of Don, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com

Heather and Rob, my deepest sympathies. Don was truly a wonderful man who touched the lives of so many people. He always believed that everyone deserved a second chance; there are so many people, from all walks of life, whose lives were changed by Don's ability to help people find their passion. I will always remember, with fondness, Don's common sense, patience and sense of humour.
