EILEEN STAUDINGER Obituary
EILEEN ELIZABETH STAUDINGER (née BROWN) Born in Liverpool, England on February 18, 1927. Passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016, after a brief illness. Eileen was an active member in the Woodbridge community for almost 50 years, avid reader and dedicated "needlewoman". Predeceased in 2003 by Josef, her loving husband of 52 years. Cherished mother of Karen (Dave) and Karl. Proud Nana to Ella, Sydney and Josef. Eileen will be sadly missed by her extended family in the United States and Europe, and many friends. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Woodbridge Chapel", 7776 Kipling Avenue (at Highway 7), on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, 8045 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Christ Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or to a charity of your choice.

Eileen, you were my "scouser" friend in 121 Woodbridge Avenue, often exchanging memories of our lives growing up in Liverpool. I still have all those books on Liverpool that I wanted to pass on to you. I will always think of you as that wisp of a lady who had the heart and mind of a lioness!
