Esmaeil Afsar Obituary
ESMAEIL AFSAR, Ph.D. Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2010 with his family by his side at the Toronto General Hospital at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Nayyer. Loving father of Afsaneh (Shawn) and Armaghan (Andrew). Wonderful grandfather to Yasmin, Rose and Brody. He will be missed by sister Farah (Manoucher) and nieces Ayda and Hilda. His passions were his family and friends, politics, history, economics and chess. Family and friends may visit at the Glen Oaks Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.
