GENOVA, GIUSEPPINA September 28, 1938 - June 18, 2022 It is with deep sorrow that we have to announce the tragic passing of Giuseppina Genova, on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Filippo Genova and her beautiful baby daughter, Lina. Giuseppina was born on September 28, 1938, in the small town of Delia, Sicily. As the eldest of 7 siblings, she is survived by Rosa (Calogero), Calogero (Graziella), Grazia (late Leonardo), Lina (late Angelo), late Salvatore (Mary), and Giuseppe (Celeste). Loving mother to her children, Angelo (Pamela) and Lina. Cherished nonna by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Filippo, Rina, Sebastian, Joey (Oriana), Joseph, Alessandro, and Massimo. Beloved sister-in-law to, Angela (late Paulo), late Rosa, Giuseppina (late Giuseppe), Grazia (late Calogero), and Angelo (Rosa). She will be held dear in the hearts of all of her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Giuseppina had an unwavering devotion to her family. She looked forward to family gatherings, cooking delicious meals, and sharing plenty of laughs. She was known for her style and fashion sense; hair always done, outfit put together and heels to the sky. To know her was to love her. She was the life of the party and the light in everyone's lives. She will be missed dearly. If so desired, donations in memory of Giuseppina Genova may be made to Autism Speaks Canada. Visitations will be held at a Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge (8101 Weston Rd.), on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 4-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Church (150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge), on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke).
