HELEN FRECHETTE Obituary
FRECHETTE, CND, HELEN (S.S. ALDRIC) Age 89, died peacefully, February 22, 2022, at Notre Dame Community, 2 O'Connor Drive, Toronto, ON. Helen was born August 1, 1932. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Frechette and Maude McQuillan, siblings Marie (O'Brien), Margaret (Couch), Noreen (O'Leary), Audrey (Kelly), Geraldine (Passmore), and brothers Joseph, S.J., William, and Daniel. She is survived by her brother Paul and sister Carole (Garland). Helen will be fondly remembered by members of her religious community, former students and collaborators in ministry. Nieces and nephews will not forget her unfailing support and inspiration. She made her religious profession in the Congregation of Notre Dame, in August 1956. In the following years, she dedicated her life to education in Grandby, QC, Kingston, ON, and twenty-six years at Notre Dame High School in Toronto. As head of the Business Department at Notre Dame High School, she prepared her students for employment and a future career. Following her professional ministries, Helen was always willing and available to help where needed. Her funeral has taken place at McDougall & Brown Funeral Chapel, March 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance was limited to family and CND sisters. The burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, ON.
