He will be greatly missed by "his bride" Nancy, children Stephanie (Brian) and Andrew (Dana), grandchildren Molly, Westly, and Emily, sister Beverly, and brother David. John worked as a teacher and art consultant with the Durham Board of Education and later as an investment broker with BMO Nesbitt. He was an avid skier and voulenteer with the High Park Ski Club, taking the role of President for a term. He was also invloved with the executive of District 16 of the Retired Teachers of Ontario for 20 years. He liked nothing better than to socialize with friends and family, so we invite you to raise a glass of single malt in his honour. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safe to get together. Donations to North York General Hospital or Sunnybrook Health Science Centre are appreciated.

I just read of John's passing. His parents and mine were close friends in Unionville many years ago. John and my cousin Lee were also close friends. John came to Atlanta several years ago and we had a wonderful visit remembering times past. I shall always remember him fondly. May he rest in peace.
