GAUTHIER, JOSEPH ERNEST DENIS February 2, 1961 - May 8, 2023 Denis Gauthier passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 62. Denis is survived by his beloved life partner, Natalie Johnstone; his stepdaughter, Anthea Johnstone; along with his cherished siblings, Don (Annette), Diane Craig (Bruce), Robert (Josee) and Giselle. He was predeceased by his parents, Aurel Gauthier (July 2007) and Anita Gauthier (November 2012). He will be remembered dearly by nieces, Michelle and Dominique; and nephew, Justin; along with many relatives in the Gauthier, Labrosse and Johnstone families. Denis' generous spirit, loving heart and dedication to living life with immense integrity will be missed and treasured forever by all who loved and knew him. At his request, a funeral service will not be held. Cremation followed by an intimate family celebration of his life will take place in the near future. Many thanks to staff at the Odette Cancer Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to cancer research or St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Toronto, Ontario, would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly I do not have a memory to share, but I can say that, Denis, being a member of the Gauthier family, went into the arms of our Lord knowing that he was dearly loved by you all. You are an exceptional family with an amazing capacity to love and support one another. You are all in my prayers.

Denis was a great friend of mine for over 40 years.He was always there to lift my spirits,listen to me whine and of course share many laughs over the years. He will truly be misses by all who knew him.My heart felt sympathy to Nat,his brothers and sisters and all his family. Having known Denis has made my life better and I will miss him greatly.

My deepest sympathy to the Gauthier family from Jennifer Black who was married to Joseph Ernest Noel Black(deceased 2021) whose mother was Marcelle Gauthier cousin to Denis father Aurel. Great grandfather was Ernest Gauthier .
