LEE DeMAN Obituary

DeMAN, LEE 1929 - 2018 Peacefully in Mississauga on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 89 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Teuna and siblings Nelle, Bas, Johan and Arie, Survived by brother Cees. Father of Peter (Kathy) and Andy (Sandy). Grandpa to Michael, Mark, Gordon and Mack. Great-grandpa to Braeden, Emma, Ethan and Eden. Lee was born in Strijen, Holland, August 30, 1929, immigrating to Canada in 1953 with his brother Bas and their wives. Proud member of Port Credit Masonic Lodge and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Co-Founder of DeMan Construction. Lee, Tuena in retirement enjoyed family, travel, golf and puttering around the house or church. Visitation will be held at the funeral home of Skinner and Middlebrook Ltd., 128 Lakeshore Rd. E., Port Credit, Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 24 Stavebank Rd., Port Credit, on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment St. John's Dixie Cemetery.

Peter & Kathy, Andy and extended families. Sending our deepest condolences to all. Lee was a wonderful and joyous neighbour and golf buddy (to Dave) Having great memories of Lee, Camping with Scout troops, Hockey Dad, family Camping trips, canoes and fishing at Restoule. Always up for a good conversation filled with plenty of laughter. Our neighbourhood will surely miss his warmth & grand presence. Much love to the family. Louise & Brandon Munro Krueger & Dave Munro
