In tribute to My Dear Mrs. Flannery
You will be in mine and our hearts forever. In every ones heart around the world who you touched & cared for.
My best youth years and my favourite life memories were working for and along with you at Conference Travel. From 1981 to the day you retired from travel.
You took us under your wing & taught me/us so much. "We" your employees were like family; It was special then & always will be.
My Sincere Condolences to the whole Flannery family who will always be special to me. Nereida and James described their mother's obituary right on! Your mother was kind, generous and loving person to all! She was an explorer at heart.
our "Marco Polo" our "Mrs. Flannery The Great"
Memories of Mrs. Flannery, you as children and your father Dr. Flannery will always take me back to all the good times, laughs, great food at the Flannery home and will never be forgotten. Love Mary

Your thoughtful obituary for your mother is spot on. You've described her perfectly. Well done! My deepest condolences to one & all in the Flannery family. You have been blessed in so very many ways. With love from Auntie Alice De La Plante

I would like to pay tribute to Maria as one of the most caring and interesting ladies that I have had the pleasure of knowing.
We went on the Orient Express China and the Rovus Rail from Darasalem to Capetown.
We saw Maria at her best.
So enjoyed meeting both of you over the years.
I turned 85 last year, just a little ahead of Maria.
Just returning home to our third home in Coral Gables after a30 day cruise aboard QM2 from NY to Dubai,
With deepest sympathies
Stan Meek
