Marshall Golden Obituary

GOLDEN, Marshall Adam - Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, age 48. Beloved son of Judith and Aubrey Golden and much loved grandson of the late Dr. Samuel and Pearl Freedhoff and the late Harry and Gert Golden. Marshall was a devoted father to his dearly loved daughter Hyla Michelle Golden del Castillo and a true and dear friend to her mother, Diana del Castillo. He leaves his loving sisters Alysa (Rick) and Amelia. He will be much missed by his niece, Cedar and his nephews, Coltrane, Ezra and Elias. Our sadness is felt by his longtime and loyal friend Jennifer and by the many people in his life that he befriended. He was a creative, imaginative, sensitive and brilliant man who was denied the future he dreamed of and who was taken from us too soon. At Beth Tzedec Synagogue, 1700 Bathurst Street (south of Eglinton) for service on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva 35 Lower Village Gate. I was so heartbroken to hear about Marshall. I saw him last at the Camp New Moon reunion in September where we had a chance to catch up. We spent many days off together at your cottage where we laughed and were as carefree as most teenagers are, which I will never forget. My heart and thoughts are with your family.
