MIKE PETRONIS In memory of Mike Petronis - October 8, 1925 - December 9, 2013. His first journey has come to a close. The new journey now begins. Mike was a no nonsense man, simple tastes and simple lifestyle and a positive work ethic. He loved his family and always put their welfare first. Mike immigrated to Scotland from Lithuania in 1947, where he met the love of his life Grace, they married 2 years later, Canada was the next stop where he would call home, start, and raise his family. Dad's gone now, but he will never be forgotten and will be missed by his wife of 63 years, sons Mike, Frank (Anne) and Edward (Jennifer), his grandchildren Rachel, Andrew, Eric and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Islington and Kipling), on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Rosary prayers 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Lithuanian Martyrs Church, 2185 Stavebank Rd., Mississauga on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery.
