SHANKS, Patrick Alexander - Passed away peacefully in his 80th year on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Bendale Acres Nursing Home. Dear brother of Oswald (Sheila) Shanks, Raymond (Helen) Shanks of Hantsport, NS, Fidele (Rolf) Edelsward, David (Winnifred) Shanks of Melbourne, FL. and Merle (Ken) Louden. Best friend of Ernest Zwerg. Patrick will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. A private interment has taken place. The family will receive friends at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (east of Pharmacy Ave.), on February 20, 2010 from 10 a.m.; service in the chapel at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
