HO, RUFUS HOW HUNG February 24, 1944 – April 30, 2022 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rufus Ho, devoted brother, doting uncle, passionate lawyer, and inspiring friend. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Cheung; and siblings, Ho Ming Kuk, Philip, Joseph, and Simon; and devoted companions Bolay, Eddie and Rocky. Rufus was a successful lawyer who was passionate about the law. He practiced for a number of years as a sole practitioner and then founded Poon & Ho LLP in 1997 with Sidney Poon, Q.C. (1936-2013), where he worked until his passing. Rufus assisted countless clients. He was also a great mentor and friend who instilled a drive to learn and use the law to help others. Rufus doted on his countless nieces and nephews, always game for a laugh, always ready with advice, and always happy to be surrounded by family. Rufus will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, ON) Friday, May 20, 2022, at 4:30-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 8:30-11:00 a.m. - Your loving wife Cynthia, and companions Bolay, Eddie and Rocky.
