Gloria Wilkinson Obituary
It is with great sadness and love we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Gloria Wilkinson, on March 18, 2021. Born in Regina in 1949 to Frank and Emma, Gloria and family moved to Victoria during her teenage years where she later met and married Robert (Bob) Wilkinson. Many years of her life were dedicated to caring for and lovingly doting on her younger brother John and being a true 'mama bear' to sons, Paul and Chris, whom she loved deeply. Gloria is survived by her brother John; sons - Paul (Jacque) and Chris; and grandchildren - Brett, Jennifer, Jessica, Nolan, Tate and Emma.
In recent years, Gloria was able to enjoy some downtime, gaining many new friends and great memories with her troupe at the Wellesley in Victoria. In particular with her close friend Beth, whom together were known as 'Double Trouble' - never ones to shy away from a good time. Mom was fond of a good laugh with her good friends and a glass of wine. She was a fighter who journeyed many hard miles, and showed her courage, toughness and tenacity right to the end. She passed away peacefully with her two sons holding her hands at her bedside.
A very special, heartfelt thank you to Beth and everyone at the Wellesley who made mom's final years fun and unforgettable. It means the world.
