My favourite memory of Yvette involves the smile on her face when she'd play a Coup Fourre' card on someone during one of our countless games of Mille Bornes'.

Roll on little lady, roll on!

Oh Yve.... my best friend for the last 15 years here on The West Coast. I miss your calls at night, I miss your calls during the day when I was at work as u were yelling, in a loving way, at Jewel who had wandered off to sniff something. I miss hearing stories about your kids and grandkids.
You were a selfless woman with a deep compassion for all animals, especially pit bulls:) You worked tirelessly to provide your family with the best life possible. You fought against injustice and was always there for the underdog. You gave so much to your clients and co- workers. I'm not sure anyone of us could have accomplished what you did in half our lifetimes.
I only wish you could have been with us a little longer......I miss you and will always love you.

Mama Yvey,

If you could read this I would want you to know how much I truly learned from being blessed with you in my life! As teenagers, you always made us feel safe and loved, you made sure we knew we could call you day or night and you would support us through anything, without judgement. When we were wild you supervised us, when we were hungry you fed us, when we were sad you held us, when we were angry you heard us, when we were silly you laughed with us. Growing up, we always knew, no matter what, we had an adult to trust and a woman who loved us with all of her heart!

If I can be half the mom you were I know my child will grow to know love and feel loved.

I promise you, I will take care of your baby the way you always took care of me.

I miss you so much and will love you forever!

Love Always,
Your Lil Mofiosa ❤❤❤
