BELL, Mary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Bell (Grandma May) on November 2nd at the age of 93. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, William in 2020 and will sadly be missed by her two sons, Gary (Dolores) and Graham. She was a beloved Grandma to Ashley (Dale), Alanna and Kayla and a great-grandma to Emma and Hudson. She is also survived by her younger sister Beth and her family.
Mary was born in Scotland and spent her youth there, then marrying the love of her life, William at the age of 20. After a move to Australia for a few years and then some time in England, the couple immigrated to Vancouver, where she would live for the rest of her life in Coquitlam. Mary spent many years working in Ladies' fashion at Sears in Burnaby and volunteered her time at both the Royal Columbian Hospital Gift Shop and Dogwood Senior Centre in Coquitlam. Mary had a long and wonderful life and will be fondly remembered and missed by all of her family and friends.
