WOODS, George Franklin Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Hanes). Dear father of Catherine Grexton (David), Jessie Crowe (Randy) and the late Ruth Lynn Woods. Loving Poppa of Andrea and Christopher Grexton, Steedan Crowe (Toni) and Jackie Jones (Matthew). Great-Poppa to Morgan, Elijah, Alexander and Dante. Brother of Ed (Gwen), Violet Chapman (the late Don), the late Bob (survived by Helen), Jim (Donna), predeceased by Margaret, David (the late Irene), Ross (Carmen), predeceased by Brenda, Paul (Laurie) and the late June. George will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. A ""Promotion to Glory Service"" will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 555 Dominion Avenue, Midland on Friday, May 10th, at 2:30 p.m. If desired, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Midland Salvation Army would be appreciated.
