I worked with Tyson for a couple of years in Calgary. Although I didn't share his sentiment for art I appreciated his passion and drive to always be creative. Very, very surprising and sad that the world has lost such a bright light. Good travels my friend.

Tyson was my student this term in a class on art, states and the body. He stood out as one of the most curious and hardworking students I've had, coming to see me on numerous occasions to discuss concepts and think through how they could stimulate new work. He was a gift to a class, a really intelligent and thoughtful student, and a very nice person. He will be sadly missed.

I know Tyson from last term at Concordia University. I don't know much about him but one thing is for sure, he made me feel good when the time came to create. We shared common interest such as music, street-art and collaboration. We had plans to collaborate this semester. For more than a month I was trying to communicate with him so we could start to work on our promised project.
I learned today...

Tyson was a great person and artist who will forever inspire me.
Thank you.
All my sympathy to the family and friends

I wish I had the opportunity to get to know Tyson better. I remember his wit, his smile, and his honesty. Only after his death did I have an opportunty to see his art. He had so much to offer this world. Like the wings of a butterfly, may Tyson's memories and artistic creations continue to create a vibration of love in the world. As for Tyson's spirit, I wish him beauty on his continuing journey. He will always have a place in our hearts.

The best experiences I have had with Tyson, was when we collaborated on art together. We were always both pushing the limits of our creativity, and in a fun way, pushing each-other to be more creative. I will miss you Bro.
