To Laura, Alex and family,
I just wanted to send my condolences. The service was beautiful...
Sempei Dave, as I knew him, was so patient, encouraging and positive. He always made me laugh, and I don't think I will forget his laugh, it made everyone want to laugh with him. I am glad I had the chance to meet Dave, and have him as a teacher, he taught me so much. Thanks for everything that you did Dave!

Your years of dedication as a teacher will be remembered. As a karate instructor, you were fantastically patient, and forever happy.
My condolences to the family, I know what it is like to lose someone you love, but remembering him in your heart will keep his memory alive.

I never had the good fortune of meeting David but as a colleague working with his sister Michele Samuel, I heard about the wonderful brother named David who Michele loved and admired. He has clearly had such a tremendously positive impact on the lives of so many people that he will be greatly missed. However, I am confident that people who knew him will take a piece of his spirit throughout the rest of their lives. My prayers and thoughts are with David's family and my friend Michele at this very challenging time.

Madeleine, Michele and all the Raboud Family...having recently lost my brother, I can truly feel what you are going through. I hadn't seen Dave in years. My memories are of the annoying little brother, but from all I've heard, that annoying little brother turned into a fine man who was loved by all who's lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and you will soon find the memories bring smiles instead of tears. Hold him in your hearts always...much love...Veronica

Jan, Laura, Alex, Helen, Paul, Connie, Madeleine, Michele, Peter, Mark, and Kirsten,
While I have not met most of you, I work with Dave's sister, Michele. She told us that Dave was the keeper of the heart in their family. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time of loss. May fond memories of your husband, father, son, brother, and uncle comfort and sustain you.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
