Cathy, Kevin, Lois and family. I am so very sorry to hear this. Mr Maas rocked, I remember his great laugh when I would sleep over at cathy's house and we would watch Monty Python. Such a gentle soul, Diana Madsen

I was shocked to hear of Cor's passing !. I am a fellow Radio Ham Operator. I first met Cor on Saltspring Island at the cable site where he worked. I always looked forward to our next meeting when he and I were over there. He was a "super person". I will miss him and think of him evey time I go over to the mountain top site called Mt Bruce.

Dear Lois;
I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Cor's passing. I will always remember Cor's sweet and sneaky smile and spirited conversations about the cable industry. What a powerhouse of knowledge Cor had about the industry, and how willing he always was to share it! A generous man, and a humble man. He sure helped me when he explained the deeper technical issues behind our television programs. I always appreciated his patience. Lois, only your own beliefs and intense positive feelings will take the painful hurt of today and replace it with nurturing and wonderful memories...I hope you will always remember the happiest times, and know I am thinking of you.
To Cor's family, my deepest sympathy..I realize you have lost a wonderful, creative, humble man and I am certain you will feel lifted by his spirit.
I am unable to travel to Duncan tomorrow, but, believe me, I will have quiet time to think of Cor tomorrow at 1 PM. Blessings always,
Daphne Goode

Dear Lois and Family.

Cor was such a wonderful man , who's mere presence on a project was inspiring. The outcome was never in doubt when Cor was involved.
I can not think of a man that I respected more. We will all miss him

Dear Lois and family,
It was sad to hear of Cor's passing and I do wish to express my sincere condolences to you with the loss of a husband and a father. We both worked at Rogers Cable, in different departments, a number of years ago. I remember having many interesting chats with Cor in his office from time to time which usually revolved around ways to receive and distribute special program signals etc. If something was possible, Cor was the man to get it done.
We also had in common the fact that we both had attended Vancouver Vocational Institute in the electronics program, and also worked for BCTV, but in different eras and places.
It was a pleasure to know Cor and to remember our talks
at the office as it were.
sincerely, Bob White

This is a sad day for the Industry. I worked with Cor in Victoria while he was at Shaw. He was one of the best in microwave technology in Canada. A great person in ever sense of the word. I enjoyed my time working with him. I pass on my condolences to the family. He will be missed.

Lois, Lisa, Ryan and family: What sad, sad news, hearing that Cor has passed away. Please know you are all in my thoughts; Cor will be deeply missed. He was definitely one of the good guys, and had a wonderful sense of humour. I'm smiling now, just remembering the sound of his laughter. I feel privileged to have known him and my heart goes out to all of you.

Dear Lois Cathy and family,

I have worked with Cor in his days at BC Tel where he was a fantastic Radio Technician and a true provider of technical support. Subsequently I worked with Cor at Rogers in the early 80's and finally we have been co-employees at Shaw for the past twenty-two years.

Cor was a brilliant technician, a super human being who always made me feel special to be in his company. He exuded confidence and caring as he tended to our many microwave systems throughout BC and in particular Saltspring Island. We always knew that we were in good hands knowing that Cor was looking after things.

He will be missed and I will always hold him and his memory in my heart.

God Bless each of you in his memory.
