Heidi Jackson, formerly of Anchorage, married Ryan Andersen of Las Vegas, at Green Valley Baptist Church in Henderson, Nevada on June 23. The ceremony was officiated by pastor Rob Boyd. The wedding party included maid of honor Courtney Cooke, and bride's maids Heather Cavitt, Brittany Brothers and Mandi Ruiz. The best man was Adam Taylor, and the groomsman included Matt Andersen (brother of the groom), Kevin Herman and Gerry Erkenswick. The bride was escorted down the isle by her father to the wedding processional from "The Sound of Music." The ceremony began with a duet "The Prayer" performed by Cheyna Alexander and Xavier Brown.

A reception was held at Sunset Gardens. The couple waltzed across the floor in their first dance to the "Godfather Waltz." The bride also danced with her father to the song "Through The Eyes of my Father" by Brianna Hayes. Toasts were given by Adam, Courtney, and Heather. A beautiful time; memorable for all.

The couple honeymooned in Florida visiting the Caribbean Islands, Mexico and Walt Disney World.

Heidi is the daughter of Larry and Paula Jackson of Anchorage. Heidi is a graduate of Dimond High School class of 2000 and earned her Bachelor's degree in music education from UAA in 2005. In her free time she enjoys staying active by running half-marathons, attending dance class, singing with the UNLV Women's Chorus and pursuing her passion for photography.

Ryan is the son of Craig Andersen and Alene Andersen of Las Vegas. Ryan attended high school in Las Vegas class of 1997 and the Community College of Southern Nevada. As a skilled land surveyor, Ryan has worked on multiple projects in Nevada, Washington and Montana. In his free time he enjoys working on cars - his current project being a 69 Buick Skylark.
