Amanda Kathryn Finch of Eagle River, and Christopher Dale Johnson of Peters Creek were married on July 14 on Florence Lake at the gorgeous lakeside cabin of their friends Mike and Mary Yorke. Mike officiated the ceremony with humorous references to Chris and Amanda's love of snowmachining. He included the use of a Polaris brochure with which the bride was able to confirm she would indeed be getting a new orange sled this fall.
The bride's best friend, Kim Kozlowski of Anchorage, served as maid of honor, and Ashley Finch, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid. Dale Johnson, father of the groom, served as best man and Matt Schmitt, the groom's nephew served as groomsman. The bride's good friend, Gretchen Fowler, played violin for the ceremony.
The bride and groom will honeymoon in Ireland this spring. They would like to thank Michelle Fissori and Robin Hopper for bringing them together with their amazing matchmaking skills!
